Can I trade Tickets with an opponent?
Nobody wants to trade with me. What can I do now?
You can exchange three identical tickets for one of what you need from the deck.
Can I trade Tripped cards with an opponent?
No. Tripped cards cannot be traded with other players.
Can I trade Tickets with a player who has already finished the game?
No. Their tickets and Tripped cards are placed in the discard pile.
Is squatting in the same location for multiple turns permitted?
Generally speaking, no. A player’s game piece cannot remain on the same city for two or more turns, except in situations where:
– A Tripped card is played which prevents the affected player from moving their game piece
– A Tripped card is played which relocates the affected player’s game piece back to the previous city in question
– The affected player lacks the required number of tickets or movements to change positions
– The affected player’s game piece is blocked by in opponents in every direction where travel would otherwise be possible
Tickets / Tripped Cards
Tripped cards can be used strategically to gain an advantage, to defend yourself, or to level the playing field. Your chances of winning improve when picking them up and playing them throughout the game.
How many Tickets can be played during a turn?
There are no limitations, so long as you don’t exceed the maximum permissible number of game piece movements.
How many Tripped cards can be played during a turn?
Does playing a Tripped card count as one of my four moves?
How do I play a Tripped card on another player?
Can I use the Bump card, the Deport card or the Detour card on myself?
I’m on an island and someone played the Longshoreman Strike card on me.
Can the Diplomatic Immunity card be used to defend against an orange or another blue card?
All six of my destinations have been claimed. However, I drew a Mechanical Failure card. What do I do here?
Can I win the game by trading places with a player who happens to be on my home city?
After trading places, both me and another player are now on our home cities. What happens?
I used the deport, the detour or the bump card on an opponent and sent to their home city at the end of game. What happens?
If the affected player has all six of their destination cities claimed, they win the game. Pay close attention to the board and don’t do this!
